Happy New Taxes Day!

February 16, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Well, is everyone enjoying the new “higher taxes day” holiday? You folks who live in Ontario, Canada probably know it better as “Family Day”. Let me run the numbers for you. This is important stuff. Whenever the government introduces a new holiday, it is actually introducing a new tax on the people through industry. Here’s a practical example of the most extreme case:

Transalta pays its employees forty three dollars an hour in Sarnia, On. That is the regular pay rate. That is the rate the employees used to get. Now, when an employee works on “Family Day”, he or she gets triple time for a twelve hour shift. That equates to fifteen hundred dollars, five hundred of which goes right into the government coffers. Does everyone get the math? Transalta is a power generating facility that never shuts down. These people have to be there and the government knows it. “Family Day” was just another power grabbing oportunity for big government and that’s all it is.

Not only that but it forces industry to pay people to do absolutely nothing. It is welfare, plain and simple. It is also legalized robbery. People can expect someone to give them something for nothing and they have the force of government to back them up. The classic Robin Hood syndrome; socialism at its most forceful ugliness. The reward for laziness magically produced to ensure the results of the next election.

Look at GM for example. It has become a retirement home which just happens to make cars. In 2005, General Motors payed out almost thirty million dollars for, get this now, erectile disfunction piils. This according to Paul Harvey news and comment. Now, isn’t that amazing? Where is GM now? Well, there’s talk of chapter 11 bankruptcy isn’t there.

Listen, folks. The encroachment of persons interested in taking over your life is all but complete. Enjoy family day.

Charles Darwin Turns 200

February 13, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Well, it’s finally here. The anniversary of the incarnation of the perpetrator of the greatest intellectual meltdown ever. None other than Charles Darwin. Not only was it an assault on intelligence and reason, but also a full frontal attack on the known laws of physics which govern the universe foundationally. By taking a proverbial sledgehammer to the foundation pillars, Darwin set in motion the shock waves that led to the holocaust, abortion, and the list goes on and on. Teaching kids the theory of evolution is the single greatest act of child abuse ever thrust upon humanity.

I know I’m a day late here but it was with purpose that I delayed so that the occasion would get no recognition from me on the twelth. If you are celebrating the event in festive form you are identifying yourself with barbarians; human beings reaching down to identify with animals instead of reaching up to identify with God. You are religious in the most negative sense of the word possible. You’ve swallowed a lie and called it truth. You’ve believed a myth because it tickled your ears.

It is utterly amazing to me that anyone, in today’s age of scientific enlightenment, would continue to hold the false evolution dogma as truth in the face of overwhelming evidence against it. I’ve written books about this and I’ve debated scientists from around the world and the only solid psychological conclusion to be reached is a flat out denial of the facts to support such barbaric ideology can only be the result of mental illness. May God help us to find a cure.

Dr. Phil Rebukes God?

February 12, 2009 · Leave a Comment

On today’s Dr. Phil, Mr. McGraw took the bold step of rebuking the almighty. That’s right! In an interview with a spokesperson for the now infamous mother of octuplets who already previously had six children, Dr. Phil said that “children should not be born with a job”. He was referring to the mother’s statement that she was an only child and needed the personal healing of having several children.

There are cases in the Bible when women who were barren cried out to God for the honor of having children. Especially male children. Here is one very famous example.

Genesis 30:1  ¶And when Rachel saw that she bare Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister; and said unto Jacob, Give me children, or else I die.
2  And Jacob’s anger was kindled against Rachel: and he said, Am I in God’s stead, who hath withheld from thee the fruit of the womb?

Now, Phil McGraw would say that woman was mentally unstable. What would he say about this woman?

And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.
1 Samuel 1:11

Is she mentally unstable? These and other women based their value and identity on the ability to have children. They were willing to go to great lengths to achieve that goal and guess what! God was more than willing to grant their request.  Is God mentally unstable? Afteral, he caused Sarah, a ninety year old woman to concieve. He gave Jacob twelve sons and possibly several daughters. Was he mentally unstable when he did that?

A woman who longs for children used to be normal. Now, Dr. Phil calls it a mental disorder. Where are the prochoice advocates now? Is it all about the choice to kill babies and nothing to do with the choice to have babies? Isn’t that prochoice? Isn’t that her choice what she does with her body? Where’s the N.O.W.? Why aren’t they rushing to her defense? Is it because the prochoice and planned parenthood groups are heavily invested in death? Of course it is. This whole case is proof of that very fact.

Dr. Phil has crossed a line here. I’d watch out for lightening bolts if I were him. Rebuking the almighty is risky business.

Psalms 127:3  Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
4  As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
5  Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

Not only can having kids bring healing to a woman, it can also save her…

Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
1 Timothy 2:15

Well, Dr. Phil. I guess you owe some people an apology. I know you’ll do the right thing.

The Road Knight Program. What a Classy Bunch.

February 4, 2009 · Leave a Comment

So I was nominated by the company that I’m contracted to for a position as an OTA Road Knight. It’s a group of elite truckdrivers who serve as ambassadors to the public on behalf of the trucking industry. It was a huge honor to be nominated by the company.

I ended up making the short list of nominees from a score of hundreds of proposals and that too was an honor. The panel of finalist judges ranged from media representatives to government and law enforcement. I had to make a speech to these folks and answer some questions from the panel. Later that evening there was a dinner and some great conversation. After dinner we were all handed a white envelope to be opened in private. It contained a list of eight names and those persons would be requird to report the following day for “media training”.

As I was walking back to my vehicle I casually opened the envelope to find that my name was not on the list. I was not surprised. There are at least several reasons why I didn’t belong on that list and I knew it. I even contemplated not showing up for the event. My reasons for going through with it are very personal. The man who nominated me was diagnosed with a life threatening disease and I felt I owed it to him to at least show up. It was an enormous honor to have someone who knows you well to stand up and say “I believe you have what it takes”.

I’m relieved that I didn’t make the team, as silly as that may sound. I simply do not have the time. Maybe I sabotaged myself. I don’t know the details of why I was denied. I can come across as a little self absorbed to persons unfamiliar with my past. Maybe they didn’t like my politics or perhaps my rugged good looks were too intimidating for them. I really don’t care. I remain unique and there will always be people who won’t approve of me for whatever reason and we must refuse to shove ourselves in where we don’t fit by being someone we’re not.

I went into that contest determined to just be me; because I like me. I’m passionate about me. If I had one word to describe the entire process I would have to say it was very classy. I felt respected by those people and I respect them. All of them.

I think I’ll keep my letter. You know, the one that didn’t have my name on it. It has a list of eight people who have what it takes to be a Road Knight. And here they are…

Paul Martin – MacKinnon Transport
Roger Douthewaite – Atlantic Transportation
Robert Duncan – Kriska Holdings Ltd
Anne Finlay – Tandet Dedicated
Donald EdwardsWerner Enterprises
Guy Broderick – Apps Transport
Todd Badour – Trimac Transportation
Brian Panchuck – Bison Transport

Many thanks to the OTA for the experience. They are a classy group.

Heavy snow in Britain means travel chaos – Yahoo! News

February 2, 2009 · Leave a Comment

I know, I know. The earth worshippers have changed the language of the dialogue to say “climate change” rather than “Global Warming” but Al Gore is still out there with his “Back to the stone age or die” message. Really, now. With record snow falls in N. America as well as England and record cold temps in the northern hemisphere is there anyone left with any intelligence (and without profit motive) who still believes in man made global warming?
